This is for the real beer of the month. LandShark Lager. Sorry about the Coors Light, what a bad, bad joke. You should be able to pick this up anywhere. Walmart and grocery stores are carrying it. http://www.nhfclub.com

After finishing off the last of the 2nd sixxer today (I didn't drink all 12 today, but just finished off what I purchased earlier this week), I thought I'd share my thoughts on this months BOTM.

First I'd like to comment on the bottle and initial impression of the beer. I was afraid it was going to be a Corona knock off, just another mexican beer that has to be drowned in salt and lime to make it tolerable. Much to my surprise, the beer required no such additives to make it enjoyable. The label is nicely done and I like the clear glass bottle. (No funny guy jokes slippin' a worm, snail, or toenail into my beer whilst I'm preoccupied.)

The beer goes down well while outside grillin' or inside chillin'. It goes well with grilled chops and smoked brats . Although I didn't get the chance to try it while sitting at the lake soaking a bait or while playing mechanic, I could see where this beer could be very refreshing in those situations.

It's a little expensive for those used to buying Natural Light, but the price is right inline with other beers like Shiner and Dos XX.

The bottle doesn't state the alcohol content of the beer, but after some quick Google searches, it appears that Landshark contains 4.7% alcohol by weight. Thats not too far from other beers such as Shiner and Dos XX. I would have guessed a little higher judging by the way I feel after just a couple of these. Maybe I'm just imagining it...

All in all, I really enjoyed this beer in every occasion tested. Can't wait to enjoy one while sitting at the lake when it's 100 degrees.

This beer was O.K. I think the biggest turnoff is the price. It is good while icy cold but $8.00 for a six pack of Budweiser/Corona is a little much. I am having a little trouble writing about beer at the moment as I drank enough beer this past weekend to kill a pack of German lumberjacks.

I didn't like it. There is nothing distinct, or memorable except it's mediocre taste and OVERLY hyped marketing. I do like the name though.

Sorry Dustin this is not about BOTM.

Here you go all you DEMS

Why even hold an election?

On one side, you have a bitch who is a lawyer, married to a
lawyer, and
a lawyer who is married to a bitch who is a lawyer.

On the other side, you have a true war hero married to a
woman with a
huge chest who owns a beer distributorship.

Is there a contest here?'

Where in the Hell is May BOTM? It is May 2nd. Somebody is Slacking. Maybe it needs to be something from Mexico to celebrate their independence and Texas being reclaimed back to Mexico.
