Looks like next year we will be going to Bailyboro lake for the fishing trip. Gilchrest Fire Dept. said only 20% of houses survived on Bolivar. Crystal Beach is Gone, Gilchrest is Gone.

Below is a link showing the Bolivar coast.

About 25:05 min into the video shows I believe the canal in which we stayed last year. You can see the house were we stayed. It is still there. I wonder how many signs the owners are going to put up now. The place were that pontoon boat was at is still there and intact and so is the stingaree resteraunt but you have to look realy close because it only shows it for a short period. Sorry Ramone, I dont think the naked lady statue made it.

Just got electric back on. Haven't seen TV in 3 days, which is a good thing. This sucks very much bad though. Fishing trip will have to be planned early as there only 3 houses on Bolivar left to rent.

Here is a report from the Stingaree Canal where we stay. I think this past year may have been our last to stay here for at least another four or five years. http://www.khou.com/video/news-index.html?nvid=283134&shu=1

I will start looking for a new place to fish as soon as I get my boat back. The storage place won't let me in till sometime next week due to power cables laying everywhere and they are waiting on the insurance man. They said all of the roofs are gone and the doors to my unit are gone but the boat is OK. Unfortunately I left all of our fishing poles and the GPS/Fish finder as well as other stuff in the unit with the boat. So I will have to go to the pawn shop to get it all back because the storage lady said the homies cut a hole in the chain link fence and have been looting the place. Kaleb needs to keep his relatives under control. I'm thinking of moving it to either Sabine or Matagorda. It may be awhile before they get Galveston Bay cleaned up enough to fish again. It will be years before Bolivar is rebuilt. I guess we could start lake fishing but there isn't anything in the lake that can bite your arm off or use their tail to slap a dagger through your achiles tendon. What fun is that.

I'm gonna use mine to buy a Gucci bag/tackle box and some spinners for the boat trailer. If I have anything left I'm gonna get a mural of the Virgin Mary holding a 40oz of Old English painted on the side of the boat.

The africans stole all of my fishing poles. The boat is fine. No damage, but the africans from next door broke in and stole all kinds of stuff out of the boat. Even though they are extremely intelligent, most of them classically trained, they still pried open the glove box(breaking it) even though it was unlocked. Those push buttons are a bitch. I wish I would have had some good old fashioned Charles Bronson Death Wish booby traps set up in there. But then I would have been sued by Jessie Jackson for killing an african while they were shopping at the Doat's Boat Storage and Looting Store. I can't wait to catch 'em fishing along side Texas City Dike for some hardhead with my gear.
