French for "The end of the world," this beer pretty much put me there. With 9% alcohol you can taste it in your nose when you take a sip. To make this beer with such a high alcohol content they had to use a LOT of malt which in turn made the beer very sweet. That is not a bad thing if you counter it with hops, which they did not. If you are not a hop head then this is a good beer for you. For being triple fermented this ale is exceptionally clear. If you are allowed only one beer per day then you might want to load up on these dudes. Once again, as the beer warmed up into the mid 50s it became easier to drink and I was able to pick out the individual flavors.

If you have damn time to pick out Malt's, Ale's, Hopps, and Alcohol then you have been hanging out in the Blue Oyster too long and are not enjoying the beer properly because you are thinking too much. I'm sure that Lot Lizzard's Old E 40's have alot of the same stuff to make beer, but he doesnt know that. If you drank the bottle of La Fin du Monde and did not find your self laying in the floor after 1 hour then you did not drink La Fin du Monde properly.

Just ask Scotty Magee!

Warm 50 degree beer???

You gotta be either really desperate for a drink of beer, or you are nursing that thing too damn long.
