I finally tried the beer of the month. St. Arnold Texas Wheat. I feel a little silly typing a review on this section of the crack pipe as there are twenty some odd articles on this section and only four have to do with the March beer of the month. Please excuse me while I actually opine on the March beer of the month instead of making fun of someone or talking about my fizzle shnizzle...whatever that is.
I'm not a big fan of wheat beer because it is too sweet. It usually tastes like sugar water or at least like homade wine brewed in the corner of a cell by inmates using fruit cocktail smuggled out of the commissary in their rectum. This beer however had flavor. It was still sweet but more like a caramel type of sweet. I tried the beer both ways because I swing like that. Both in the bottle and in a glass. When I drank from the glass I was able to smell while I was drinking and that made a huge difference.
There wasn't a whole lot of hoppy bitterness so the aftertaste stayed on the back of my tongue instead of cauderizing the front. This is a beer to drink with something lite and white. My recommendation would be Jamaican jerk pork or lemon chicken.
Don't blame me for this rating. I am now on the mailing list for Beer Magazine thanks to one of the members of this crack pipe. Mind your own business as I adjust my ascot.

There is only a week left in the month of March. If you haven't tried the SA Texas Wheat you better get on the ball. We have 23 registered members and only 9 votes. Time to get off of your butt and go to the beer store. It's not doing calisthenics to the theme song of Rocky in PE. It's drinking beer. For those of you who have tried it and voted, thank you.

I'm a registered member, but you probably shouldn't count on my vote.
9 out of 22 means your proportion is already getting bigger!

That's true. 2 more votes and we'll have half the members voting.

My best guess is that the others are too drunk to vote.

Yea, Ramone! Exactly what Scotty Magee said.

Clovis and Lubbock sell other things than just Natural.

Ya'll need to get to the strip before the month is up to buy something other than kiwi-banana wine coolers.
