Just got the boat back from the doctor with a clean bill of health. As soon as we get a warm weekend we will be moving it over to Matagorda Bay. Sharkgirl and I took a little scouting mission there last weekend and were surprised at how clean the place is. Even in January the water is clear. It didn't have seaweed washing up on the beaches and the guides were coming in with limits of fish....IN JANUARY! We sat at a restaurant on the Colorado river which separates East bay from West bay drinking cold beer and watching a pack of feral hogs feeding with turkey vultures. When we walked down the beach we crunched perfect sea shells with each step. So far we like this place much better than Bolivar but we will see how things turn out once the summer crowds start showing up. Let me know when ya'll are ready. We have shiny new rods and reels waiting for you to hook something on the other end.

Somebody needs to put some dates in there so people can start looking and Ramon can start trading on-call days. May is not going to be a good month this year, Either April or June.
